We have begun the New Year with yet more working bees, clearing the site in preparation for the final and last job – laying the driveway and carparks! We can hardly believe that in a few weeks time we will be finished with construction and will no longer have to cope with the eternal dust in summer and puddles in winter.
It is a real delight to now be moving from building the development to just living in it. We are now focussing on the finishing touches, finishing the swales and marsh, building unique scaffolding to make it safe and easy for us to maintain our homes, building our pergola clothes line, then we are planning bike sheds, storage space, permaculture shade house and so the list goes on!
